Family Fellowship Events – Held on the third Saturday of the month from 5:30-7:30pm these gatherings are designed to be welcoming and considerate of the needs of families and all are welcome to attend. We gather together to share a delicious meal, either prepared for us or potluck, join in fellowship over games, simple activities or simply conversation, and then conclude our evening with worship. Worship will be informal with opportunities for all to participate in meaningful ways. Family Christmas Eve Service – This 4:30pm service allows all children in attendance to participate in the retelling of the story of Jesus’ birth. Sheep’s ears, crowns, robes, and angel’s wings are provided, or come dressed as a shepherd, angel, wise one, or your favorite stable animal. Together we will recreate some of the sights and sounds that marked the beginning of our tradition so long ago. The service is about 45 minutes in length and provides plenty of opportunities for everyone move about, sing with enthusiasm, and pause to reflect on this Holy Night. Special Events – Each year we plan several special events that are well suited to family participation. Please check the website calendar for specific events and dates such as intergenerational worship and the church picnic. |
