Sunday Morning Program – Programming begins in worship and continues on downstairs following the children’s story. One can often hear laughter and enthusiastic responses as we learn more about God, the biblical story, and one another. We use United Church of Canada curriculum (Seasons of the Spirit and Godly Play) that are liberal in nature and encourage children to become more fully aware of God’s presence in their lives and the world. With singing, games, experiments, and amazing glue or paint covered creations we further grow our faith. Faith Friends and Fun Vacation Bible Camp – An annual week long half day summer program designed to allow children and youth (in leadership training) to grow their faith, strengthen their relationships with others, and have fun! Games, stories, drama, crafts, music, food, you name it we’ll be giving it a try! On the Sunday following camp the children will lead the congregation in an energetic and engaging worship service. Professional Development Day Programming – A new program to Crescent United Church this year that is designed to provide children with a fun and engaging half day program when public school is not in session. The morning will be filled with music, crafts, games, stories, and a homework corner. Please check the calendar for specific dates of programming. |
