Epiphany
It is a time of focusing on Christian brotherhood and fellowship, especially in healing the divisions of prejudice and bigotry that we all too often create between God’s children.

Ash Wednesday
We prepare for Lent with a short service & placement of ash on our person.

First Sunday in Lent (Communion)

Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday we remember and celebrate  Jesus coming into the City of Jerusalem. It is marked by the distribution of palm leaves (often tied into crosses) to the assembled worshippers.

Maundy Thursday Service
A short service commemorating the last supper in preparation for Easter.

April 22
10:00 a.m.

Good Friday Service
This service reflects on the last day of Jesus before his crucifixion. The service is dramatised and designed to prepare us to celebrate the resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Easter Sunrise Service
Worshippers gather for an early service outside at Blackie Spit to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Easter Sunday Service
“Halleluiah, Christ has risen.” “He has risen indeed.

 

Earth Sunday
We give thanks to our Creator for the amazing gift of the garden Earth.

 

Pentecost
We celebrate the birth of the church when the Holy Spirit entered the hearts of the followers of Jesus.

World Wide Communion Sunday
This day is a call for all Christians - of whatever background and of whatever theological tradition - to recollect that we are in fact one in Christ, and that the table we receive from, and communion at, is God's table not our own.

November 13

Remembrance Sunday
This is a service which offers prayers for true peace in the world.

November 28

1st Sunday of Advent

December 24

Christmas Eve
Our worship prepares us for the arrival of the Christ in the world.

4:30 p.m.

Family Service
All children are invited to help create a nativity scene by coming forward as angels, shepherds, wise men or animals.

7:30 p.m.

Carol Service
We sing our carols and hear the story of birth.

11:00 p.m.

Communion Service
This is quiet candle light service, with communion and carols.

The Sundays after Christmas Day
The Sundays following Christmas Day are still Christmas so we continue to sing the Christmas carols adding some of the less known carols for variety.
