International Pot Luck Dinner at 5:30pm on  October 1, 2011

 

Please mark your calendars early so you won't miss out on this fall event. Food, fun and fabulous entertainment are in store!! This is an opportunity to celebrate our unique heritages by sharing food items from around the world, dressing in ethnic clothing, and experiencing some fun and educational international entertainment.

 

So drag out those tartan ties and kilts, brindles and muumuu's. If you think you don't have anything ethnic in your ward robe, use your imaginations and be creative with your clothing. Food items are pot luck and we'd love to sample your lasagnes, perogies, egg rolls or bangers and mash. Once again, if you don't have a traditional family specialty try out a new recipe that piques your interest.

 

We live in an amazing world filled with diverse cultures, customs and celebrations. So come on out and sample some delicious foods, take the opportunity to talk to others of your roots, make some new friends, test your knowledge of the world around us and enjoy some dances from around the world performed by the Surrey International Dancers.
