Values Statement We believe that children and youth are an essential part of Christian Community – a community in relationship with God through the gift of Jesus, a community in which all are valued and contribute to the whole. Young and old alike are participants and contributors to the church’s life, mission and witness. The church holds our youth and children in the same esteem as its adult participants. Taking the gifts of children and youth seriously is essential to the wellbeing of the church community. We also believe that is it important for children and youth to make connections to the wider community. To help enable these connections we encourage them to participate in both wider church and community outreach events. |
